Kathleen

This has a painterly feel to it; I could be persuaded that it isn't actually a photograph. She seems trapped in her life and in the frame itself, but her gesture speaks of the private hope for a transcendence she knows will never come. But she does daydream when she thinks no one is looking.

Please drop me a line, I want to get in touch with you.

Hello Carl

Forgive me, yesterday i answered your comment and it didn´t hit me, ¨Chica Barbie¨..today i was driving and suddenly pow, THAT Chica Barbie!!! That incredible photo essay from Columbia..Carl, first of all, i am thrilled you visited my work..and second i´d love to contact you but was not successful in my efforts to contact you by clicking on the ¨cb¨. I left an e-mail link in my profile and will also look back at Chica Barbie on Burn to see if you left contact info there. Sorry i was so clueless yesterday...brain-dead from too many late nights.

Best regards:

Kathleen
